Stop #4 of MY Journey

Israel Jerusalem

sunny 86 °F

Day 4: Jersualem : the wailing wall and ramparts walk.

A last I have arrived in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. It is high above the Dead Sea and the Jordan river. I came to find that this city is a holy place for Muslims, Jews, and Christians. I came to see the place of Jesus' death, since I am a devoted Christian and found that even though it was turned into a tourist attraction, that it was a breaking moment for me. I never felt so unworthy to be alive than then. Just to see Calvary up close was nothing but thanksgiving to me. I decided as much as I wanted to stay, that I should make my way over to the weeping wall before it gets too packed. Now the weeping wall is where many people from all three different religions, come together and set their prayers to the wall. As I looked, trying not to be nosey, many people were putting all their needs and requests into the wall, seeking heavenly direction and guidance. I did as well, and let me tell you I was in such brokenness at the wall, I felt God's presence so dearly in my heart.
Out of all the places I have been, this has been the most personal, emotional place so far. I felt as if I were at home with a sense of peace. Even through the crowded streets and loud city noises, I was content. Everyone was speaking their native tongue Hebrew, which was interesting in itself to hear. It was beautiful. Well as much as I really want to stay I have to go. I am off to the place that I been wanting to go all my life SOUTH AFRICA. Now that I feel that I am anointed with Christ Jesus I can go to South Africa to help and visit those in need.

Stop #3 of MY Journey

INDIA

93 °F

Day 3
India:
I am happy to be in India it is a real change from the first two islands that I visited. I have to say that as much as I liked viewing the gorgeous rain forest and all of natures beauty, I was excited to be here. I arrived by boat and came up to the gateway of India and with my anticipation, smiled. The population of India is 1,166,079,217 with a land area of 1,147,949 sq mi (2,973,190 sq km); and a total area: 1,269,338 sq mi (3,287,590 sq km). Here they do speak English and Hindi.
As soon as I got settled in, I went to visit the em-famous Taj Mahal, which was specially built for Emperor Shan Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It was interesting to find out that part of its purpose is to a mausoleum. That means that people who are famous or really high in society are able to be buried there. It was kind of scary to me because I never even knew. After I was done being freaked out, I decided to check out the out the architecture, it was amazing! It is defiantly an Italian style and from an Italian architect, but no one knows for sure. It was magnificent I have never seen such designs or heart put into a building. Now, I will get some rest because tomorrow is a BIG day, I am off to Jerusalem, in Israel.

Stop #2 of MY Journey

Philippines

overcast 27 °F

Philippines:
As my travels to the falls wasn't exciting enough now that I have made it to the islands, to be specific, Philippines, I have seen such pure beauty. The weather is an average of 27 so its a little chillier than the falls, but still nice out. Yes, there are tourist attractions, but I decided to take my adventure a little deeper into the wilderness. I started off by getting to know the people. They are the ancestors of Muslim Indonesians and Islam's, as well as the Spanish. It was nice to see the people and I got to see what their cultures are about. It was interesting to hear that 90% of the Filipinos are Roman Catholic. I loved the people and seeing their faces painted and just how they lives everyday life. The population in about 76.499 thousand, this is higher than the population in Milford Sound falls because not really anyone lives by the falls. It was pretty exciting to stay in the homes of the people. They actually have instead of a high heating bill, use geo-thermal heat from the grounds hot waters. Even solar energy is used and all at a cheep cost. All in all I had a wonderful time here on the island, the people were great. So now I am off to the middle east; India.

Stop Number 1 of MY Journey

New Zealand: Milford Falls

rain 58 °F

Today was my first day on an adventure that is truly going to change my life. Day 1 I start here in Milford Fall New Zealand. It has been a great trip to start. I have never been here or even known about it however I am not disappointed. The temperatures over here are usually in the high 50s range but other than that it is chilly and wet. I got here today on the ferry which took about 2 hours. As we were coming up I saw the mesh green hills with mist and fog surrounding, I just couldn't
wait to get closer. I just happened to come to the falls when the rainy season is just getting started. These falls are known to be the wettest place in the world. Even the falls are formed by the rain, man it's such a beautiful sight. We went for a dive off one of the bay's an found black coral. It was interesting because usually black coral is found in deeper waters. At about 2 or 3 in the afternoon we packed up and had to leave because the weather gets really bad. So now as I get ready to head to the islands I'm truly excited. This was a great way to start off my travels around the world
